Barbara Ann McCracken
February 4, 1932 – November 6, 2018
McCRACKEN, Barbara Ann (nee Bone) – With overwhelming sadness, the family of Barbara Ann McCracken announce her peaceful passing at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Beloved wife and best friend of Kenneth James McCracken, much loved and amazing mother of Deborah (Patrick Gasparelli), Allen (Tanya), Charles, Kenneth James Jr. (Rebecca) and Cragg (Andrea). Loved and respected Granny of Christiana, Margaret (Maggie) Cole, David, Morgan and Kiera. Daughter of the late Melbourne and Dorothy Bone and sister of Ken Bone (late Mary), late Roland (late Doreen) and the late Richard (Janet). Daughter in-law of the late Thomas and Edna McCracken, and sister-in-law of the late Edith, late Austin (late Mae), late Rhoda (late Al) late Thomas (late Mary) and the late Merlin (Maxine). Aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Barbara was a loving and supportive wife, mother and granny, always putting her family first in all things. She will be remembered for her generous, kind and loving heart, there was nothing that she could not do. In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, there will be a celebration of her life at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Central United Church Memorial Fund or ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family.
