Ann McGregorDear Ilene and family, I was greatly saddened to hear of Brent’s passing. I know that he had battled cancer bravely for several years and gave that terrible disease a hard fight. I was very privileged to have Brent as my principal at Emily Carr in the years leading up to his retirement. His quiet leadership and common sense demeanour made our school a wonderful place to learn and teach. I recall he held a gathering to celebrate receiving his first pension cheque and invited past colleagues to share that special time! It was a very fun evening! Please accept my heartfelt condolences as you say goodbye to this wonderful man. He touched many students and teachers throughout his career. Sending warm thoughts and gentle prayers. Ann McGregor
