May 11, 2002 ~ November 8, 2018
On November 8, 2018 Ayva May Mallon of Edmonton, AB., tragically passed away
at the age of 16 years old.
Ayva is survived and lovingly remembered by her mother and stepfather Marcia
and Luke Jacobson and siblings Emily, Alexander and Michael. Also by, her aunties
Sandra (Tom) Norman, Dahliah Tomie and Allison Mallon (Rob) and her uncles
Dan (Lorena) Jacobson, Adam Jacobson (Terra) and Garry (Cyndi) Johnston;
her grandparents Diane and Noel Mallon, Barb Tomie, Joe Tomie (Bonnie) and
Linda and Trevor Baird and her great-grandmothers Arlene Tomie and Katherine Friesen.
She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ayva was predeceased by her father Neil Mallon.
A Viewing will take place on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by
A Celebration of Ayva’s life at 1:00 pm both at Heartland Alliance Church 53105 Highway 21,
Sherwood Park AB T8A 4T7.
A heartfelt thank you to the Edmonton Police Service, EMS responders, and all of the doctors, nurses,
social workers, chaplains and all the staff at the Royal Alex Hospital and the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, or
238 RCSCC Campbeltown Sea Cadet Corps in Sherwood Park, AB.
