Antanas Kozulis

KOZULIS, Antanas “Tony” December 10, 1920 – November 23, 2018 Peacefully, our wise and fun-loving grandpa was reunited with the love of his life, best friend and wife Birute (nee Iskauskas) (2012) on November 23, at 97 years of age. Antanas is predeceased by his parents Juozapas and Julijona Kozulis, and siblings in Lithuania, his loving daughter and son in-law Donna (2013) and Vytautas (2018) Pliskevicius and treasured grand-daughter Kristina (2013) Pliskevicius. Antanas is survived by his son Romas (Nancy) Kozulis, and will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his grandchildren Algis Pliskevicius (Nikki Little), Julija (Chris) Lackner, Jeffrey Rivait, Donny Kozulis (Giselle St. Pierre) and Randy (Nikki) Kozulis. Great-grandchildren Milanija and Makalija Lackner, Stanley Diemer and Gabrielle, Nicholas and Matthew Kozulis will miss Great-Grandpa very much. Antanas was devoted to his family. He looked forward spending time up north at the cottage, where he’d wake up at the break of dawn to go fishing, swim in the lake, or carve creations out of beach wood. Antanas enjoyed sports, being outdoors in the wilderness and animals of all kind. He would constantly sing and dance around the house and shared his passion with his wife, children, grand-children and great-grandchildren. Grandpa touched us with his generous heart, hard-working mentality and wise words. Now he is our angel, guiding us from above. A special thank you to the staff at the Village of Aspen Lake Riverside Neighbourhood who cared for him throughout the years. A private service was held to celebrate Antanas’ life on November 26, 2018. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234. For those who wish, contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Es. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.windsorchapel.com
