Obituary
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus. Beloved mother of Deborah (James) of Stittsville and Constance (Hal) of Calgary. Cherished grandmother of David of Ottawa, Kyle of Calgary, and Lauren (Paul) of Mississauga. Proud great-grandmother of Sophina. Predeceased by her husband Richard “Dick”, her brother Edward “Ted” of Tamworth, Ontario and nephew Eric of Enterprise, Ontario. Anna will be fondly remembered by her brother’s children PhilIip (Theresa) of Marlbank, Brenda (Joe) of Enterprise, and David (Mary) of Bradford. A celebration of Anna’s life will be held at a later date. Interment of ashes will take place in Gananoque, Ontario. As a primary teacher and teacher-librarian Anna strongly believed in the value of reading to and with children. In lieu of flowers to the Ottawa Public Library – Stittsville Branch (Children’s Literature) would be greatly appreciated.
