Obituary for Ann Marie St. Denis
St. Denis (nee Mahoney), Ann Marie-
Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Sunday, December 16, 2018 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Gerry St. Denis (2006). Loving mother of Marlene (Glen) Cassan, Laurie St. Denis, Joseph St. Denis, Lianne (Frank) Lucchese, and Janine Bendfeld. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Nick, Daniel, Stephanie, Dana, Joseph, Alex, Andrew, Sherry and Christopher, and great grandmother of 10.
Ann Marie was born and raised in Atherley, ON. She and Gerry moved to Guelph in 1952. Ann Marie was active in the Catholic Women’s League, St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxillary, and Kiwanis Queens. They enjoyed their retirement at their cottage at Washago, and their home in Florida. She had a life full of travel and enjoyed her sports. We will miss her generous heart, and her sense of humour.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St, Guelph, on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
