CHAVES, Angelo.
1941 – 2018
Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Monday,
August 27, 2018 at the age of 77. Loving husband of 53 years to Maria
Lourdes. Cherished father to Joe (Lucy), Arty, Luis (Cristina) and
Jason. Loving grandfather to Ashley, Andrew, Eric, Andy, Chloe and
Liam. Predeceased by his parents Jose and Elena Chaves and his inlaws
Jose and Maria Braga. Also predeceased by his brothers Manuel, Jose,
Antonio and his brothers-in-law Jose Moura and Antonio Braga.
Survived by his sisters Maria Ines Chaves (Silirno), Leonor Rego
(Jose), Madalena Moura and brother-in-law Eduardo Braga (Rosa) and
sisters-in-law Indalina Braga, Leonor Braga and Maria Chaves.
The family would like to thank Care Partners and CCAC for the years of
excellent care they provided to our dad. Also thank you to Dr.
Holling and Dr. Mueller for their home visits and care.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge on
Friday, August 31, 2018 from 5-9pm. Prayers will be recited at the
funeral home on Friday evening at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be held from
Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 185 Elgin Street S., Cambridge on
Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11am. Interment will follow at Parklawn
Cemetery.
