VALADE, Andre – Mr. Andre Valade, formerly of Summerstown at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge, Cornwall on Friday May 25, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Alice (née Poirier) Valade. Loving father of Rhéal (Karen), George, Denis, Monique Pigeon (Raynald), Suzanne and Laurette Valade. Cherished grandfather of Chantal, Stéphane, Michel, Corey, Mélanie, Amanda, Danièlle, Nathalie; and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Annette Chretien (late Maurice). Predeceased by his parents Fabien and Émelia (née Andre) Valade; his two children Roger and Françoise; grandchild Jennifer; and siblings Rolland (Pauline), Irene, Bella Paquin (late Léo), Raymond (late Anita), Zenon (late Florida), and René (late Thérèse). Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Thursday 9-10:15 AM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Glen Walter, on Thursday May 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal to follow in the parish cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions in his memory to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
