Gretta Mary Agnes Anderson (nee Watson), of Durham, passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Friday, June 1st, 2018 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Anderson. Loving mother of Wayne Anderson and his wife Jo-Ann, Doug Anderson and John “Andy” Anderson all of Durham. Cherished grandmother of Shane Anderson, Kayla Anderson and Keith Guse, Cheryll and Dereck Draper, Erin and Justin Milne, Kelsey and Vince Rogister, Austin Anderson, and Ashley Anderson and Matt Bartley. Dear great-grandmother of Taylor, Jamie and Jorden Draper, Ayden, Alexis, Parker and Paisley Milne, and great-great-grandmother of Avery Harrison. Dear sister of Robert “Bob” Watson and Wilma Ammerman. Also survived by her brother-in-law Bill Anderson. Predeceased by her brother David Watson, her sister Verna Burnett, and her granddaughter Michelle Anderson. Gretta spent her career as a school teacher, starting in a one room school house and finishing at Saugeen Valley Public School, and she thoroughly enjoyed working with children.
Visitation:
Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Monday, June 4th from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m.
Celebration of Life::
A funeral service celebrating Gretta’s life will be held at Knox United Church, Durham on Tuesday at 1 p.m., with visitation being held at the church prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Interment at Zion Glenelg Community Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Knox United Church Memorial Fund, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
