Alice Boucher 19232018

Alice Boucher
1923-2018
It is with a sad heart that the family announces the
passing of Alice (Vienneau) Boucher, 94, wife of the late Wilfred E.
Boucher, which occurred on January 1st, 2018 at
the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes. She was formerly of Rough
Waters
Drive.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late
Harry and Josephine (Chamberlain)
Vienneau.
She is survived by her children: Pat
Collins (Dominick) of Grande Prairie, AB, Marcella Boucher (Serge
Dionne), Guy Boucher, and Etta Scott (Ron), all of Bathurst,
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three
sisters: Leona Vienneau of Bathurst, Yvonne Dion of Montreal
and Patricia Doucet of Nigadoo, several sisters-in-law,
brothers in-law, nieces and nephews. Son-in-law,
Régis Bérubé of
Bathurst.
Besides her husband, she was pre-deceased by a
daughter Yvette, great-granddaughter, Rebecca, son-in-law Henry
“Nicky” and daughter-in-law
Shirley.
With her family, nanny was very
competitive. She played to win regardless of our
age. She loved to tease and everyone could always count on
her honest
opinion.
It was shortly after moving to the Foyer Notre Dame
De Lourdes that a new world opened to her. She claimed the
entire foyer family as her own and quickly became
“grand-mère” to
all.
Special thanks to all who cared so lovingly for her,
including Joan and her goddaughter
Fern.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral
Home. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday
morning, January 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral
Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com),
Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Alice may be made to the
Foyer Notre Dame De Lourdes Foundation or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
