Alfred Barnes
Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, May 18, 2018, Alfred Barnes, age 82 years of St. Alban’s.
Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Elizabeth; sons, Michael (Pearl) at St. Alban’s, Kevin (Eileen) at Ajax, ON, Wayne (Wanda) at Clarke’s Beach, Roger (Erin) at Stetter, AB and Bruce (Lyndsay) at Caledon, ON; daughters, Donna at St. John’s, Marilyn (Derek) at St. Alban’s and Tina (Leon) at St. John’s; seven grandchildren; sisters, Agatha Hoskins at St. Alban’s, Ethel Irving at ON and Jessie Power at St. Bernard’s, NL; plus a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Rita and William Barnes; sisters, Mary Morris, Theresa Farrell and Jenny Donahue; brother, Matthew Farrell.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 3:00 pm from St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church at St. Alban’s with Father Patrick officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
