Alexandra Bunni Hamilton 1961 2018

Obituary for
Alexandra “Bunni” Hamilton
Bunni passed at Welland Hospital shortly after midnight, December 25,
2018. Christmas Day was always her favourite day. She was in her 58th
year. Born September 30, 1961, she was predeceased by her mother,
Sylvia (1997) and father, Jim (2013). She is survived by her uncle, Alex
Hamilton (Bonnie), two aunts, Eleanore Laquerre and June Watterson both
of PEI, cousin, Bernadette Barkovich (Joe), and several other cousins. She
was predeceased by four uncles, John (Janice) Hamilton, Robert Hamilton,
Ernie Watterson and Gaston Laquerre. Bunni is lovingly remembered by
special family friend Karen Hindle and her long-time best friend Leeann.
Bunni was a much-loved part of Community Living Welland Pelham for
more than 20 years and considered its support staff part of her family. She
was a devoted fan of Disney, enjoying several Disney cruises and visits to
Disney World in Orlando, Florida. She affectionately bonded with many
Disney characters. A special thanks to Leeann and Chelsea for opening up
the Disney experience to Bunni. Friends are invited to visit at the H. L.
Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main St., Welland, Ontario, Thursday, December 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be in the
Cudney Chapel Friday, December 28 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Thomas
Vaughan of Holy Trinity Anglican Church officiating. Burial will follow in
Pleasantview Cemetery, 2250 Highway 20, Fonthill. In memory of Bunni donations to Community Living Welland Pelham would be greatly appreciated by the family
