Alexander’s Obituary
Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family Alexander Thomas Gilley at the Bonne Health Centre on Friday, October 19th, 2018 at that the age of 82 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 60 years, Eileen, his children; Larry (Mary), Lorraine (Graham), Ira (Wavey), Darrell (Cheryl), Sandra (Dennis), and Jacqueline, his precious grandchildren; Marlene (Desmond), Wilson (Dawn), Shyvonne, Judy (Caleb), Shannon (Carthik), Tyler (Kaley), Colin, and Brittany, and his great grandson; Dillon, his sister-in-law; Lavern, brothers-in-law; Willis (Beatrice), and Bernard, and also he never lost nor won an argument with his best Buddy; Lloyd. He will be joining his two little girls in heaven along with his parents; Mildred and Alexander, step father; Adam, brothers; Bertrum (Liz), Richard, and Joe (Lil), sisters; Lucy (Clyde), and Eunice, and sisters-in-law; Cassie (Harvey), Susie (Felix), and Janie. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
In keeping with Alexander’s wishes cremation will take place and the family will be receiving family and friends at the Anglican Church in Sally’s Cove, NL, on Monday, October 22nd, 2018 from the hours of 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm, where also the Memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm, with Canon Terry Rose officiating and burial to follow at the family plot of the Anglican Church cemetery in Sally’s Cove, NL.
