Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital, with his family by his side on Monday, May 28th in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Thelma Mackie. Loving father of Lawrence (Lillian), David (Mary), Brenda May, Jeanine Sinopoli (Sam), Teresa Hughes (Brian Williamson) and Christine Miller (Steve). Dear grandfather of Alex, James, Sarah, Bruce, Scott, Garrett, Reid, Jennifer, Jake, Justin, Melissa and Robin and great grandfather of 9 great grandchildren. Brother of Robert (Shirley), Doris Clarey (the late Richard) and Jean McEwen (Ross). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 11 King St., W., Colborne on Thursday from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, Colborne on Friday, June 1st at 11:30 am. Cremation with interment in Lakeport Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital or Heart & Stroke Foundation. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
