Tammy’s Obituary
SQUIRES, Tammy Amanda – of Bedford, formerly of Greenwood, Kings Co. It’s with great sadness that the family announces her passing on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the age of 58 years, in the V.G. Site, QEII, Halifax. Tammy will be lovingly remembered by her father, Victor; her sister, Kelley; her niece, Jennie; and nephews, Brian and John, and many dear friends. Tammy was predeceased by her mother, Carol (Toni) Squires. Tammy graduated from Acadia University in 1990 with a BBA and in 1992 she became a Chartered Accountant, working for the Federal and provincial governments for 29 years. Tammy retired in 2018 as the Assistant Auditor General of Nova Scotia. Tammy’s success includes working in most regions of Canada, and specifically promoted better government in Nunavut. Tammy was an avid world traveler, candy crush enthusiast, golfer, loved her family and friends, and was considered the world’s best aunt. There will be no visitation. Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 7, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. Rev. Canon Lynn Uzans officiating, with a private interment in North Kingston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Tammy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
