Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Zoe Kristina Welz announce her sudden passing on Monday, November 7, 2016, at the age of 18 years old.
Zoe will be lovingly remembered forever by her parents, Max and Angela; sister, Vanessa; brother, Max and sister-in-law, Paula; Opa, Max; Papouli, John; and aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her Oma, Edith; and Yiayia, Demetra (Diana).
Zoe was a rambunctious little girl who grew up into a beautiful young woman, whose dimpled smile lit up any room she was in. She had an infectious personality and was always eager to make others laugh. She loved her family, was kind and generous, loved to play soccer, go camping with her Dad and siblings, travel with her family, spend time with friends, and eat copious amounts of junk food. Zoe was creative and talented, and loved to draw, colour, paint, sculpt and build things, but her favourite hobby and pastime was snuggling in bed with her beloved dog, Charley.
Our Zoe’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her radiance understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. She was deeply loved and will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Zoe’s Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, November 18, 2016, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.
