HUNTER, Yvonne Helen Winnifred
Yvonne passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017, predeceased by her husband Stan Hunter, she is survived by cousin Linda (Grant) Denison and her Hunter niece and nephews Carol, Ted, David (Pat), and Roy (Dianne). Yvonne is also fondly remembered by her extended families: the La Salles, including Pat Tierney, Brad and Jacky, Lee and Melissa, Max and Cohen, as well as the entire Tierney clan, all of whom have shared many special holidays and occasions with Yvonne. A special thank you to Yvonne’s long-time friend, Pat Sargent for her kindness, companionship, and helpfulness, especially during the past year. The family also thanks Dr. Iny and Dr. Rice, and the staff at Villagia, LHIN, St. Elizabeth’s and BayshoreNursing for their kind, compassionate and professional care.
Yvonne enjoyed a long and eventful life, which included extensive travels as well as residing in Tel Aviv, Rome, Hong Kong, New Delhi and Florida.
Friends are invited to a reception to celebrate her life at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Ave. (east of Vanier Parkway) Ottawa, on Thursday, January 11th from 11am to 2pm. Words of remembrance will be held at 12noon, anyone wishing to speak at this reception is more than welcome to do so.
