1937-2017
Peacefully, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital,
Wyman Garnet Snowdon, 79, of Sackville,
passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 after a brief
illness. Born in Wood Point, NB, Wyman was a son of the late
Harold and Elizabeth (McFadden) Snowdon.
Wyman
enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and
fisherman. He was a very good darts player. Wyman
enjoyed being with others and was an excellent and loving husband,
father, grandfather and great grandfather. Today we are
thankful Wyman is pain free, and finally at peace.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 59 years,
Jean (nee Smith), of Sackville; three sons, Danny (Debbie Melanson),
of Dorchester, Kelly, of Dorchester, and Harold, of Sackville; seven
grandchildren, Duane, Mark, Matthew, Elizabeth, Kelly, Jody, and
Christopher; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a
brother, Jack, of Dorchester.
Besides his
parents, Wyman was predeceased by five sisters, Inez, Marie, Irma,
Jesse, and Beryl, and brothers, George, Carman, and Frank, as well as
an infant brother, Abner.
Arrangements are
under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral
Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville
(506-364-1300). Honouring Wyman’s wishes, there is to be no
visitation or services.
For those
who wish, donations in memory of Wyman, may be made to the family to
assist with expenses would be greatly appreciated..
