Age 88 of Lower Sackville passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Musquodoboit, she was a daughter of the late Mary and Walter Bezanson.
She was a Deaconess of the Dartmouth Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She will forever be remembered by her kind, loving heart and for her love of the Lord. She worked very hard all of her life, including many years as a Nurses Aid at Sacred Heart Convent in Halifax. She was very fond of the family cat, Dixie.
Winnie is predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd; son Everett; sister Ethel and brother Winston.
She is survived by her son Miles (Linda); sisters Shirley, Ann and Jean (Roy); brothers Walter (Eileen) and Stanley (Violet); grandchildren Laurena (Michael), Sheldon (Carla) and Roger; Great-grandchildren Amy, Lindsay, Brett, Michael and Kevin, and many nieces and nephews.
Family flowers only. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 23 from 6-8 pm at Atlantic Funeral Homes, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 24 at 11 am at Dartmouth Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 35 Lakecrest Drive, Dartmouth, with burial to immediately follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 585 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville. A reception will be held in the church following the burial.
