William ‘Buddy’ Spearing September 14, 1928 – August 26, 2015

Buddy was born September 14, 1928 and passed away peacefully after a very short battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife Betty; his parents Harold and Minnie; mother and father-in-law Bill and Eva Colpitts; brother Dale; brothers-in-law Jack and Bill, Derry, and Russ; sisters-in-law Elsie, Francis and Bev; sons Calvin (in infancy) and Peter. Mourning him are his cherished children Robin (Janet) of Pense, Neil (Linda) of Emerald Park, Dan (Della) of Martensville, Nancy (Jim) of Regina; his adored grandchildren Kevin (Carrie), Amanda (Derek), Darcie (Reid), Arlan (Kat), Kiefer, Reece, Cody (Marina), Shelby (Logan), Kelsi (Jeremy), and Tyler (Andi); great grandchildren MacKenzie, Shyan, Eli, William, Martha and Oliver; sister Isabelle; sisters-in-law Shirley, Trudy, and Wanda; brothers Allan (Mavis) and Ken. Also left to mourn him is his special companion of the last few years Marj Meriam and her family. He will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends and neighbours. Dad had the gift of gab, quick wit and loved a good joke or story. He has left a huge void in our hearts but has now been re-united with mom. A CELEBRATION OF BUDDY’S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family would especially like to thank the nurses at Moose Jaw Union Hospital, 3E at the General Hospital and Palliative Care at the Pasqua Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.
