William 'Bill' Maximuik

William ‘Bill’ Maximuik 16 janvier 1957 – 10 novembre 2016

Bill was born on January 16, 1957 on the family farm outside of Buchanan and passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Regina Grace Hospice.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Stephanie Maximuik; and brother John.
Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his loving wife of 20 years Brenda; their sons Eric and Aaron; and numerous friends and family members.
Bill graduated high school in Buchanan in 1975 and entered into the psychiatric nursing program at Wascana Institute in 1977. After graduating in 1979, he began working at the Regina Correctional Center until retiring in March of 2007. In July of 2007 Bill began working at Extendicare nursing homes until he completed work at Parkside in October of 2014.
Bill loved cars, sports and reading and was a collector. He was passionate about watching his boys play in sports, specifically soccer and football. Bill also enjoyed numerous family vacations to the mountains and tropical destinations.
A PRAYERS SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, 4001 East Victoria Avenue Regina, SK on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
A FUNERAL MASS WILL BE CELEBRATED at Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, 3155 Windsor Park Road, Regina, SK on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to the ALS Society of Saskatchewan, 90C Cavendish Street, Regina, SK S4N 5G7.
