On Sunday, January 15th, 2017 at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site Bernie Knapp peacefully entered into rest at the age of 85 years. Bernie Knapp beloved husband of Janet Bedford. Dear Father of Dianne Kane, Ronald (Elaine Cash), Joy Wood (Gordon), Terry (Tina Gray-Knapp), Step father of Julie Stewart (Mark) and Scott Bedford (Natacha). Grandfather of Eight and Great Grandfather of Three. Bernie is survived by his sisters Rosemary Keeler (Joe) and Luella Shannon (Dwight). Predeceased by a daughter Rosanne Crowder, a son Bobby Knapp a granddaughter Lindsay, sisters Marguerite, Jackie, Bernice, Barbara and his parents Edgar and Elvira «Dolly» Knapp. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
