Wendy Roberta Beers
Wendy R. Beers, 67, of Lutes Mountain, passed away at her
residence on Monday, April 10, 2017. Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Robert and Elsie (Godwin) Dobson.
Wendy was a Legal Secretary for the Department of Natural
Resources & Forestry, retiring after 35 years’
service and was a member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church. She
loved her job and the people she worked with. A family person, she
loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending precious time with
them.
Wendy will be sadly missed by her husband, Darrell Beers;
sisters, Heather Horsman (late Ronnie) of Stilesville and Jillian
MacEacheron (John) of Berry Mills; brothers, Stephen Dobson (Pam) of
Berry Mills and Michael Dobson (Janey) of Ontario; mother-in-law,
Eileen Beers of Berry Mills; nieces and nephews, Clinton, Alison, Ian
and Amanda, as well as many other nieces, nephews and extended family
members. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
sister, Suzanne Dobson and nephew, Colin Horsman.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to
celebrate and honour Wendy’s life will be held at Fergusons
Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday,
April 14, 2017 at 1:30 pm with The Venerable Brent Ham officiating.
Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
Interment will be in Horsman Cemetery later in the
spring.
In memory of Wendy, donations to the Friends of The Moncton
Hospital, the Canadian Mental Health Association or a memorial of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Online
