Wendi Ann (Jimmo) Pye
1970-2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce
the passing of Wendi Ann Pye (Jimmo) on Sunday April 30, 2017 at the
SJRH after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Born
August 25, 1970 in Miramichi, NB, she was the loving daughter of John
and Yolande (Savoie) Jimmo. She was a loving wife to Ronnie
and a devoted mother to daughter Jessica.
Wendi is survived by her sisters, Brenda
Webber (Rhodes) and Karen Jimmo; nieces, Haley and Allie Jimmo;
nephew, Matthew Webber; as well as many friends. Wendi was
loved and respected by Ronnie’s extended family and will be
greatly missed.
Wendi was predeceased by her maternal
grandparents, Gerard and Louisa (Roussell) Savoie; paternal
grandparents, Preston and Annie (O’Leary) Jimmo; and
in-laws: Bernard and Violet (Perry) Pye, Diane
« Dean » Breen, and Paul
Pye.
Wendi loved to shop, go away on vacations,
puppies, and sparkly things.
Special thanks to Father David Martin and
staff of the Oncology and Palliative Care units at the SJRH for their
care and compassion during this difficult
time.
Arrangements are under the care of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint
John, NB (634-7424). A Mass of Christian Burial will be
held at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 45 Dollard Drive,
Grand Bay-Westfield, on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 10am.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Saint John SPCA Animal
Rescue, Value Village or the charity of the donor’s choice
would be appreciated by the family.
