Warren Beers 1915-2016 BEERSVILLE, NB – Warren Beers, age 100, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, August 4th, 2016. Born in Beersville, he was the son of the late Charles and Pearl (Ward) Beers. Warren worked on the railroad, then returned from Moncton to the country to farm, became a butcher, to finally retire as a truck driver. Warren will be sadly missed by his daughter, Donna Wellwood (Norman) of Beersville; his granddaughter, Tina Brown (Brent) of Dipper Harbor; his great grandchildren, Holden, Bailey and Chloie, with whom he always cherished his special time; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Warren is predeceased by his wife; Flora (née Little), his three sisters, Winnie, Stella and Jenny; and his four brothers; Ray, Albert, Edward and Ivan. Following Warren’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 8th, 2016 at 2:00pm, St James Presbyterian Church, Beersville. Officiating will be Reverend Sandy Sutherland. If so desired, donations in Warren’s memory may be made to the St James Presbyterian Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
