Virginia Lily Flewelling
1923-2017
Virginia Lily Flewelling, 93, of Richmond Corner NB wife of
the late George Flewelling passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the
Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville NB. Virginia was born in
Rosedale NB on November 4, 1923 daughter of the late Sterling and
Clara (Greer) Harris.
Virginia is survived by her children, Ronda Murray (Raymond)
of Richmond Corner, Robert(Alice) of Richmond Settlement,
Richard(Roberta) of Richmond Corner, Rayma Vrieze(Maurice) of Bedell,
Ruth Bryant(Robert) of Jacksonville, Ronald « Peter »
(Eileen) of Debec, Robena Clark(Lloyd) of Bedell, and Shelley
Wheelan(Brian) of Woodstock; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren
and 11 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Elmer Harris of Bedell NB,
Tim Stairs (Stacy) of Sussex NB, sisters in law, Vera Murray of
Fredericton NB, Lillian Flewelling of Woodstock NB, nieces, nephews
and cousins
Besides her parents and husband, Virginia was predeceased by
a great granddaughter, Amanda Parker, great grandson, Carter Clark,
sisters, Mildred Simonson, Geraldine Cronkhite and a son in law, Joe
Murray.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral
Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road
Jacksonville NB on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to
9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from The
Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM. Interment will be in the
Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the St.
John’s United Church, McKenzie Corner or to the URVH Extra
Mural Palliative Care Program.
