Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Thursday, April 13, 2017, Violet M. Pomeroy of Brigus Aged 79 years.
Predeceased by her husband William L. Pomeroy,son, William M.Pomeroy, brothers, Tom & Sam Rose, sisters Marjorie Shrubtree (nee Rose) , Florence & Irene Rose, half brothers, Richard, Bill & Bruce and step- brother, Doug Noel.
Leaving to mourn, daughters, Shirley (Ross) Mercer, Cathy (Bruce) Winchester, sons, Fred and David Pomeroy, grandchildren, Crystal Mercer (Doug Jewer), Candace Mercer (Jason Carew), Vanessa Winchester, Carli Pomeroy, Shanae Pomeroy , David Pomerory Jr, great grandchildren, Nixon Senga and Dru Carew, Priya Violet Carew, half brothers, Graham (Jeanette) Rose, Clarence (Effie) Rose, Reginald (Rita) Rose, Melvin (Julia) Rose, Wayne (Kim) Rose, half sister, Daphne (Lorne) Spracklin, also a large circle of extended family and friends.
Cremation has taken place.
Resting at Broughton,s Funeral Home, Brigus
Visitation will take place on July 28, 2017 from 10-2 P.M., 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.
Funeral service to be held on July 29, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Broughton’s Memorial Chapel, Brigus.
