Brckovic, Tomo
Passed away peacefully with family by his side, in Kitchener, at Grand River Hospital on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the age of 70 years. Son of the late Mijo and Franca Brckovic. Predeceased by his brother Franjo Brckovic and dear cousin Drago Antolcic. His memory will lovingly be held in the hearts of his family; Sister-in-law Slavica Brckovic; Niece Slavica Milatovic (Marijan); Nephew Vlado Brckovic along with his many great nieces and great nephews; Patrik, Ivan, Magdalena, Ana Maria, Dora and Matija all of Donja Kupcina, Croatia; Cousins Steve (Adela) Antolcic of Kitchener and Frank (Ann) Antolcic of New Westminster, BC. He will be remembered by his special friends Ivan and Lily Mikuljan and their family along with the many friends in Kitchener, Hamilton, Toronto and Croatia. He will be missed by those who always considered Tomo as their uncle; Diana (Goran) Stajduhar; Steven (Suzy) Antolcic; Richie (Liz) Antolcic.
Tomo retired from Budd Canada and was a long-time parishioner of Holy Family Croatian Church. He was a proud member of the Croatian Dom (retirees club) and long-time supporter of the K-W Hrvat Soccer team.
Tomo’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Thursday November 24, 2016 from 5-9pm with Holy Rosary at 8:30pm. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 9:20am followed by procession to Holy Family Croatian Church, 180 Schweitzer Street, Kitchener for Tomo’s Funeral Mass at 10am. Fr. Miro Grubisic officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
