Tolson Wayne Stanley December 22 2017

Obituary
The train that delivered Tolson Wayne Stanley on October 3rd, 1951, came around the bend to Kilbride on December 22nd, 2017 for his final voyage.
So much joy came to him when the door opened and the conductor was his father Harry Stanley, and he saw his mother Mildred who had her arms out. She will hold him in her arms forever now. He heard the sweet voice of his sister Mary-Lou and brother Alan, and a wave from a little boy Josh Bungay. He knew he was not alone on this new journey. He also saw so many friends and co-workers and they had lots of news for him.
The train ride was full of joy, sorrow, goodbyes and farewells. But yet Tolson has left behind so many beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the railroad of life. Tolson leaves behind so many beautiful memories to continue on. He will be lovingly missed by his best friend, partner, and soulmate Bridie, whose arms he died in. He had three special girls who he looked upon as his own: Kim (Steve), who was by his side as he took his last breath, Charleen (Brian), and Mary Frances (Cyril). Tolson also had five special granddaughters: Mackenzie (the farm girl), Sarah (the Irish redhead), Katie (Kaitlin the beautiful blonde), Haley (the princess) and his littlest pet Olivia. Pop adored each of them.
Also left to mourn is his special brother Carlson (Yvonne), who was always by his side through thick and thin. He loved you very much. Dearly will be missed by his only surviving sister Eva (Gerald). Tolson leaves behind his little brother Andy; his brother-in-law Keith, who both held a special place in his heart, and he’s special boy Sean, and many nieces and nephews.
Leaving behind his mother-in-law Mary Hickey, brothers-in-law Ambrose (Betty), Alex (Diane), Ferg (Darlene), Martin (Sandra), Billy (Nancy) and Andy (Wanda); sisters in law Betty (Barry), Sue (Dave), Frances (Pat), Philomena (John), Mill, Cecelia, Jackie and Anne. Thank you to all his wonderful coworkers at Bugdens, where Tolson had been a broker for many years. Thank you to Jessica and Susanne for all your prayers and calls. A special thank you to Kurt Halleran and Paddy Trask who were both special friends and employees. At this beautiful, joyous time of year, please think of Tolson with a special prayer or a simple smile. When he sees you getting on that special train, he will greet you and say “Welcome Aboard.” He was loved beyond comparison.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday December 27 from 11-9 p.m. and Thursday December 28 from 10-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Friday December 29 at 11:00 a.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to any charity in his memory are encouraged.
