Thérèse Collette Richard
1925-2017
Thérèse Richard, 92, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste,
Bouctouche and formerly of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away
peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Manoir on Wednesday
November 22, 2017. She was married to the late Napoléon
Collette (1974) and in a second marriage to the late Alphée
Richard (2009). Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter of
the late Albert and the late Annie (Robichaud) LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her fourteen children; Huberte Rossignol
of Moncton, Angela Collette (Anise Maki) of California, Aurainna
Léger (Delphis Cormier) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Anne-Marie
Desharnais (Roger) of Saint-Rosaire, QC, Eva LeBlanc (Eugène)
of Renaud’s Mills, Annette Collette (Marcel Cormier) of
Saint-Grégoire, Donald Collette, Aldéric Collette
(Pierrette) of Cocagne, Fernand Collette (Joanne), Paul-Emile
Collette, Noël Collette (Denise), Léonard Collette
(Rachelle), Maurice Collette (Jocelyne) all of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent,
and Delphis Collette (Marthe) of Renaud’s Mills, her twenty eight
grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren as well as several
nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two sons: Omer and Ola, three sisters; Lydia,
Eva and Elise and four brothers; Zoël, Aquila, Edouard and
Elie.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Sunday November
26, 2017 from 7: to 9 and on Monday from 1 to 2:15 pm. Funeral Mass
will be celebrated at the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Church on Monday
November 27 at 2:30 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Thérèse’s memory, donations may be made to the
Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche.
