Theodule Gallant
1928-2016
ST-LOUIS-DE-KENT – Theodule Gallant, 88, of
St-Louis-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent
hospital, Ste.-Anne. Born in St-Louis, he was the son of the late
Crispin and Delima (Maillet) Gallant. Theodule worked as a woodsman
before retiring.
Theodule will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeannette;
two daughters, Claudine Disimone (Ettore) of Moncton and Nola
Ouellette (Normand) of St-Ignace; two sons, Jean-Guy (Majella) and
Claude (Anne), both of Moncton; seven grandchildren, Janie, Paula,
Marco, Samantha, Marie-Josée, Jeremie and Monica; two
sisters, Jeannette Poirier (late Yvon) of Rexton and Alfreda Gallant
of Montreal, QC; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Theodule is predeceased by his
four sisters, Lucienne, Ernestine, Alma and Florence; seven brothers,
Joseph, Albert, Saturnin, Rene, Edgar, Cyprien and Louis-Emile; as
well as to brothers in infancy, Edgar and
Joseph.
Visitation will take place at
Thompson’s Memorial Home, St-Louis, Sunday, October
9th, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and
7:00-9:00pm and Monday, from 9:00am until departure for the funeral. A
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October
10th, 2016 at 11:00am,
St-Louis-des-Francais Roman Catholic Church, St-Louis. Donations in
memory of Theodule may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, if
so desired.
