Obituary Ted Groenland of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years. Ted will be lovingly missed by his wife, Irene of 37 years; children, Adele, Diane, Ralph (Debbie), Peter (Colleen), Gloria and Michele (Brian); grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; family in Holland and numerous family and friends in Edmonton. He was predeceased by his son, Theo. Ted was a proud man with an amazing strength of character and lived his life with integrity and honour. He had diverse life experiences making him a leader in many fields. Ted was also kind, gentle and always expressed his gratitude. He will be so missed. Reverend Patrick Baska will celebrate a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edmund Catholic Church, 13120 – 116 Street, Edmonton. Memorial donations in memory of Ted may be made to Westview Health Centre – Hospice, 4405 South Park Drive, Stony Plain, AB, T7Z 2M7.
