BENSON: THEODORE ROSERVELT (1960-2016) Theodore R. Benson of
Seal Cove, Grand Manan Island NB, passed away at the Grand Manan
Hospital on Monday, August 22th, 2016. He was born in North Head the
son of James and the late Nelda (Wilson) Benson.
Theodore worked at Connors Brothers Sardine Factory for over
twenty seven years.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 36
years, Joyce Ann (Clement) Benson of Seal Cove, his father
James Benson of Seal Cove, one daughter Sherry Lee Benson (Mark) of
Banff AB; three sons Richard (Chelsey) Benson of Cape Breton, Roger A.
Benson of Seal Cove, and Brandon J. (Samantha) Benson of Seal Cove;
three sisters, Christine (Ron) Phillips of Moncton, Tosha Benson of
Castalia and Lavina Benson of Moncton, five brothers, Albion Benson of
Seal Cove, Peter (Brenda) Benson of Seal Cove, John Benson of Grand
Harbour, Howard (Roxanne) Benson of Grand Harbour and Walter Benson of
Seal Cove. Five grandchildren Rena Harris, Xiviar Gregory, Dallas
Benson, Mary Benson and Angel Benson.
Theodore also had many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his mother Nelda (Wilson)

Visiting will take place at Ells Funeral Home from 2-4 and
7-9 pm on Wednesday August 24, 2016. The funeral Service will be from
Seal Cove Wesleyan Church on Thursday at 1:00 pm.Donation can be made
to The Charlotte County Cancer or the donor’s choice.
