Webb (Currie) Teresa Agnes – age 97 of Lake Echo passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2017 in Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital. Born in Sheet Harbour she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Annie (MacDonald) Currie. Teresa worked at the Halifax Shipyards until 1956. She was a long-time resident of Lake Echo, active member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and Lake Echo Seniors Club. She was a caring and loving mother who was devoted to her family. Always putting others before herself. She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts. Teresa is survived by daughter, Donna (Joseph) Cameron, East Preston; son Terry (Karen), Mineville; grandchildren, Joanne Duffy, Joseph Cameron, Patrick Cameron, Judy Cameron, Kaitlin Webb and Keith Webb; great granddaughters, Hailey, Kylee, Lily, Ella, Khloe and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, William “Bill”; great grandson, Adian in infancy; brothers, Andrew, Gerry, Frank, Den, Blair, Ron, Floyd; sisters, Annie, Gertie, and Pat. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9pm Monday, February 6 in Atlantic Funeral Home 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Funeral Mass 11am Tuesday, February 7 in St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 3293 Highway #7, Lake Echo with a reception to follow. Burial in St. Anslem’s Cemetery. Family flowers. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society. Thank you to the staff of Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital.
