SYLVESTER (nee Vigneau), Mary Viola – After a long battle with ALS, Mary Viola Sylvester at the age of 82, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 13th, 2017. Currently living in Brantford, formerly from Sydney, Nova Scotia, she is survived by her seven children Linda Kitchen-Clark (Gary predeceased), Shirley Wambolt (Glenn), Rena Wilcox (Fred), Barry Vigneau (Noreen), Wendy Vigneau (Len Kitchen), Valerie Mitchell (Heather) & Janet Herrington (Tim). She will be dearly missed by her five brothers, two sisters, as well as five stepchildren, 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 22 nieces/nephews. There will be a church service to honor our mother at Sacred Heart Church, 17 Washington St. in Paris on Thursday, Nov 16th, at 1pm. Her children and sister will then accompany her ashes to Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stedman Community Hospice (Hankinson House) in Mom’s name.
