Tadic, Svetozar “Sveto”
Peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Village of Wentworth Heights, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Milka Tadic. Loving father of Sretko (Irina), Bogdan (Slavka), Dragoja “Dan” (Terri), Drenka (Bozidar)Dancetovic, and Mira (Jerry) Horvath. Loved grandfather of ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Survived by sister-in-law Danica Stankovic. Predeceased by his sisters Mika Bojic, Bosa Tadic, Stoja Babic, his brothers Bogdan, Stretko, Radoja, brother-in-law Branko Stankovic. Sveto will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, Kumovi and Prijatelji. Special thank you to the staff at the Village of Wentworth Heights for their care and support.
Family will receive friends at the LG WALLACE Funeral Home (151 Ottawa St. N) 905-544-1147 on Thursday, November 23 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. Pomen (Prayer) will be at 7:30 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 24 at 11 am at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (153 Nash Rd. S) Hamilton, with the Very Reverend Father Milojko Dimitric and the Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral would be appreciated by the family.
