Obituary of Stanley Williams
WILLIAMS, Stanley Roy (September 13, 1942 – September 20, 2017) – longtime employee of the City of Pembroke (1973 – 2008) – suddenly at home, after a courageous 9 year battle with Multiple Myeloma, in his 76th year.
Survived by his beloved wife Berniece Margaret (nee Goltz). Loving father of Heather Ann Hamilton (Andrew), and proud grandfather of Nicholas (Jessica Ella Gauvin). Predeceased by his parents Hugh Earl Williams, Mary Gladys (nee Moth) and step-father Earl McNeil. Brother of Madeline, Helen (late Alvin) & Calvin (late Linda) all of Brockville; and Larry (Gail) of Mallorytown. Predeceased by brothers Hugh (late Betty), Donald & Harold. Also survived by sister-in-law Shirley Dillabough (Ken), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 7 to 9:00 p.m. A Graveside Committal Service will be held at Cross Cemetery, Halstead’s Bay on Monday at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation – Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
