In loving memory of Stan who passed away at Extendicare Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 peacefully in his sleep. Stan was predeceased by his wife Dixie (nee Thicke), father Clarence Wilson, mother Lillian King, stepfather Bruce King, brother Alvin and sister Ethelda. He is survived by his children Shelley, Donald, Brian (Teresa), Bev (Stew Pfisterer) Wilson, grandchildren Alissa & Aaron Demers and Nathanial & McKayla Wilson and sister Muriel (Steve Crocker) McClure. Stan was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was known to demonstrate exceptional patience, kindness and goodwill throughout his life. As an employee of Archer’s Dairy for most of his life, he was well liked and respected. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and skiing and passed on his love of Nature to his children. The family also wishes to thank the nurses, doctors and staff of Extendicare Nursing Home who gave excellent care for many years.
