SKINKLE, Jean Ann – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jean Skinkle on Tuesday, December 19th, 2017 at QHC-Belleville General Hospital at age 84, with her family by her side. Jean was a lifelong resident of Belleville. She was married to her loving husband Garnet for 66 years. Jean will be sadly missed by her children: daughter; Josephine Boardman (husband Steve); son Jim Skinkle (wife Diane); and daughter Judith McLeod (husband Terry), her lovng grandchildren; Erika and Casey Rodgers; Katie and Sean Begley; Brent and Allison Boardman; Chad and Kelley Skinkle; and Cory and Kristen Skinkle. Also including Jean’s great grandchildren: Kolbie, Braedyn, Caoimhe, Lannah, Tilly, Brody and Morgan. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has already taken place. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Jean’s life which will be held at Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville (613-968-2273) on Friday December 29th, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
