Shirley Walsh, 68, of College Street Bathurst formerly of St Margaret’s, NB passed away on Monday October 30, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital Bathurst, NB. Born in Chatham, NB the daughter of the late James & Garnella (Trevors) Dickens. Shirley loved and adored her sons and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending as much time with them as possible.
Shirley Walsh is survived by her loving sons: Stephen Walsh (Nicole Daigle) of Bathurst, and Chris Walsh of Miramichi, her loving grandchildren: Naomi Fawkes, Alysha Walsh, Kristy Walsh, Dominik Savoie, Bryan Walsh and Aysha-Lynn Walsh along with her great-grandchildren Maddison Knowles and Izabella Good. She is also survived by her sisters: Georgina Dickens (Bob) of St Margaret’s, Mary Anne Chiasson (Robert) of St Margaret’s, Beatrice Stewart of Miramichi, Jessie Despres (Ronald) of Loggieville, and Louise Dickens (Jerry) of St Margaret’s as well as many nieces and nephews.
Shirley is predeceased by her parents James & Garnella (Trevors) Dickens.
Shirley Walsh is resting at Maher’s Funeral Home Miramichi, NB on Thursday November 2, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday November 3, 2017 at 1pm from ST Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church St Margaret’s with Fr Paul Doucet officiating. AS a expression of sympathy a donation amy be made to the St Margaret’s Renovation Fund or to the memorial of one’s choice would be appreciated.
