Sheilah Grace Jones
Sheilah G. Jones,
60, of Riverview, with her loving family at her side, passed away
peacefully within the comforts of her home on Sunday, December 17,
2017. Born in Antigonish, NS, she was the daughter of Harold
and Elizabeth (Wright) Toogood.
Sheilah
worked alongside her late husband Lloyd at the R.S. Jones and Sons
Ltd. for many years as well as Sears and Welcome Wagon. She
was a lifetime member of Coverdale United Church where she served as
secretary of the board of Stewards and Trustees. Sheilah was a member
of the M&P Committee and was involved in many church
fundraisers. She was a lifelong member of the South Eastern
Farm Women, she enjoyed NASCAR, bowling and spending time with her
family, but her true pride was found in her cherished
grandchildren.
Sheilah
will be sadly missed by her loving children, Craig (Erin) of Riverview
and Laura (Gary Boutilier) of Moncton; cherished grandchildren, Olivia
and Jackson; sisters, Annie Grimmer (Harley), Elizabeth Uloth (Ken),
Margaret Planetta (Wayne), Mary Taylor (Ron), Dot VanBommel (Joe) and
Mae Newell; brothers, Douglas (Mildred), David (Carol) and Robert;
several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
Visitation
at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A service
to celebrate and honour Sheilah’s life will be held from
Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at
11:00 am. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre
following the service. Interment to be held in Fair Haven
Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of
flowers, in Sheilah’s memory, donations can be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society (Ovarian Cancer). Private online
