Rollinmud Sun Walk, Shayla – It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Shyla Mary Summers Rollinmud/Sun Walk. Shyla passed away at the age of 17 years. Born July 22, 1999 Shayla lived life to the fullest, she was known for her sense of humor, outgoingness and friendliness. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends. Shyla is survived by parents Rennie Rollinmud and Sheldon Sun Walk Sr., Shannon Little Light; siblings Cyruss Rollinmud, Shane (Carrie) Sun Walk and Sheldon Sun Walk Jr.; grandmothers Florence Black Rider, Clara Rollinmud; grandfather Mike Meguinis Sr.; great aunts and uncle Clara (Frank) Big Tobacco, Ruth Broad Scalplock (Francis) Melting Tallow, Robert (Rita) Calf Sr. and Linda Fox. Aunts and uncles; Trent (Elaine), Troy (Jocelyn), June, Wynette and Roberta Sun Walk. Rollinmud and Meguinis families. Shayla comes the families Calf, Medicine Shield, Many Bears, White Elk, White Man, Sleigh, Solway, Many fires, Black Rider, Red Gun, Ayoungman, Back Fat, Many Gun, Wolf Child, Rollinmud and Meguinis families. Wake services will be held at the Gordon Yellow Fly Memorial Arbour, Siksika Nation AB on Friday September 09, 2016 1-6 pm for family – 6 pm for public. A Celebration of Shyla’s life will be celebrated at Gordon Yellowfly Memorial Arbour (Siksika Nation, AB) on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
