Beloved father and grandfather, Sergei passed peacefully leaving many cherished memories with his family and friends. He was a man that could light up a room, Dad was cool, fun and had a great sense of humour and charm. He had a strong sense of justice, defining right from wrong; yet very forgiving with a depth of understanding. Chivalry, a trait so common for his generation was one of his best attributes.
Sergei is survived by his children, Michael (Wanda), Marina and John (Susan); grandchildren, Michaela, Lara, Ashlee, Christopher and Alexandra. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and Michael; sisters, Anne and Nadia; and brother, Alexander. Also not to be forgotten are his many golf, bowling, curling and railroad friends. He cared greatly for all his canine relationships, tending to his garden and continued care of his bird feeder. Gracious, considerate, modest, humble and kind. His authentic character and example will continue to influence and guide us.
