Ruth Liedia Kurz
Ruth Lydia Kurz – Surrounded by love, and called by the Lord into his arms, at the Civic Hospital in Brampton, on Friday, December 22, 2017. Age 87 years.Beloved wife of 60 years to Waldemar Kurz, loved mother of Irma and Ernst Boltner, Walter and Elke Kurz and David and Mirjam Kurz. Dear grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Survived by her loved sister Meta with Willi and her sister-in-law Herta with Siegmund, her sister-in-law Irma, as well as many nieces and nephews with their families. She will be dearly missed by all her relatives and friends in Canada, the USA and Germany. The family will receive friends and family at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home (King Street East at Wellington), on Wednesday December 27 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Church ( 104 Hughson Street North, Hamilton) on Thursday December 28 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations will go to St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Liebenzell Mission of Canada.
