Ruth B. Walker
Ruth B. Walker, 77, of Moncton, and formerly of Toronto, ON,
surrounded by her daughter, Jenny and her cousin, Danny, passed away
peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, November 12, 2016.
Born in Minden, Ontario she was the daughter of the late Leslie and
Velma (Puffer) Walker.
Prior to retirement, Ruth worked for the Province of Ontario
in the Community and Social Services Department. Very passionate about
art, Ruth was a proud member of the Moncton Art Society and enjoyed
listening to jazz music.
Ruth will be sadly missed by her daughter, Jennifer
« Jenny » LeBlanc (Mario) of Moncton; her two
cherished grandchildren, Lindsay and Ashli; sisters, Sandra Robinson,
Patricia Hollahan and Heather Hannah; brothers, Douglas, Terry and
Jack Walker; as well as step brother, Greg Barton and several nieces,
nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she
was predeceased by her brother, Rodger Walker.
A private gathering to celebrate and honor Ruth’s
life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the professional care of Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995).
