Obituary for Ruby May Chapman (Brown)
CHAPMAN, Ruby May – Peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Caressant Care Nursing Home, McLaughlin Road, Lindsay. Ruby (née Brown), in her 98th year, was the beloved wife of the late Charles Chapman (April 26, 1971). Loving mother of Verna Dwyer (Martin), Hazel Holder (Lorne), Ruth Hopkins, Bill (Nancy), Joan Corley (Keith) and Bob (Shelda). Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Ruby was predeceased by her parents George and Isabella Brown, and siblings Lloyd (the late by Mildred), Sam (the late Myrtle), and Bob (survived by Alice). She will be loved and remembered always by her extended family and friends. Visitation will at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 1:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Ballyduff Cemetery.
