Peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Wright) Boswall and loving father of
Doris (Timothy) Sabean, Lyle, Linda (Alexander) Campbell, Dale (Patti)
and Glen(Simone).
Cherished grandfather of Gregory Sabean, Ryan (Stephaine) Sabean,
Natalie Sabean, Alexander Boswall and Marissa Boswall.
Adored great grandfather of Nicolas, Alexandria, Hayden, Mason and
Benjamin Sabean.
Dear brother of Beth (Winston, deceased) Stewart and Stella
Boswall.
Predeceased by his parents Henry Lyle and Pearl Emma (Jay) Boswall of
Marshfield and brothers Irving (Margaret) Boswall and Keir (Mary)
Boswall.
Roy enjoyed a 35 year career with Agriculture Canada (Experimental
Farm), rising to the position of senior technician, specializing in
plant and soil research. He was also a member of the 721
Communications Regiment where he rose through the ranks to the
position of Lt Colonel. He was awarded the title of Honorary Colonel
of the regiment in 2002.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 4-7 p.m. A
private graveside service will be held in Marshfield Community
Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s
Presbyterian Church on Wednesday at 2 pm with a reception to follow.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society – PEI or
the Alzheimer Society of Prince Edward Island.
