REID, Ross Peacefully, passed away with his daughters by his side, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Sunday July 12, 2015, at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of Mary. Sharing their lives for over 50 years. Loving father of Theresa, Jane & Michelle. Stepfather of Billy, Ron, Andrew & Ann. He will be missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ross was 1 of 17 children, born of Albert & Jane Reid of Sterling, ON., on August 10, 1923. Ross was a World War 2 veteran, proudly served Canada. Retiree of General Motors, Oshawa. Ross enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and spending time with his family & grandchildren. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care Nursing staff of Lakeridge Health, Oshawa. Funeral arrangements entrusted to MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME 905 443-3376. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Ross will be deeply missed.
