Ross Dinnis Matheson
1935-2016
Ross Dinnis Matheson, 81 years, of Riverview,
NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Thursday,
September 22, 2016.
Born in Charlottetown, PE he was the
son of the late Clifton and Jean (McNutt) Matheson. Ross retired after
many years working with General Motors in Moncton. He along with his
wife were the owner-operators of Lakeview Lodge and Cottages in PE for
20 years.
He is survived by his wife Noryne (MacPherson);
nieces Barbara Pratt of Hammond Plains, NS, and Janet Pratt of
Fredericton, NB; nephews Halbert Pratt of Charlottetown, PE, Malcolm
Pratt (Rena) of Charlottetown, PE, and Roderick « Dhuey »
(Heather) Pratt of Winsloe, PE.
Besides his parents he was
predeceased by his sister Mary Pratt (Roddy); brother Malcolm Matheson
(Shirley); niece Lori Matheson Kostal.
Visitation will be
held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home on Sunday,
September 25, 2016 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
Vistiation will be
held at Trinity United Church, 220 Richmond St. Charlottetown, PE on
Monday, September 26, 2016 from 1:00pm until time of service at
2:00pm.
Interment will be in Flora Hills Cemetery, Hunter
River, PE.
Donations in Ross’ memory made to the the
memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
