LeBlanc, Rose Age 85 passed away peacefully at the Oakwood Terrace Nursing Home on Nov 18, 2016. Born in Halifax on June 21, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Ivy Gibbons (Johnson). She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid quilter and a member of the Mayflower Quilters Society, quilting at Woodlawn United Church and a member of St. Thomas More Parish.
She is survived by daughters; Cathy Webster, Susan Aymar and Mary Alice (Rob) Cambridge; son, Robert (Lynn) LeBlanc; sister, Viola Crouse.
Rose was predeceased by her husband Joseph Roy, son Arthur, sisters Claire MacDonald and Helen Fader, brothers; Bernard and Robert.
Visitation will be held 2-4, 6-8 at Atlantic Funeral Homes 771 Main Street Dartmouth on Tuesday November 22, 2016. The Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday November 23, 2016 followed by a reception and a private family burial in Oakridge Memorial Gardens.
In Lieu of flowers donations in Rose’s Memories can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundations, or the Alzheimer’s Society.
